Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the supreme rule for faith and practice. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments were written by men who were moved by God to write the very words of Scripture without error. 2 Tim 3:16

God

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are equal in essence and divine perfection, yet have distinct harmonious roles. This is what we refer to as the Trinity.

  • The Father is the head of the Trinity, maker of Heaven and Earth, all things visible and invisible.
  • Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. He became a human being to reveal God to mankind and to become the Savior of this lost world.
  • The Holy Spirit was sent as a witness to the divinity of Jesus and convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

Humanity

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated in that relationship through sin. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God without the direct intervention of Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. This results in forgiveness of sin, a personal relationship with Him, and an eternity in Heaven after death.

Christian life

We believe it is necessary that all Christians live a life fully dedicated to Jesus Christ, through obedience to scripture and daily yielding to God’s Spirit.

Church

We believe the church consists of people who trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We refer to these people as the body of Christ, whose purpose is to make Him known to the world, to disciple one another, and to demonstrate God’s love to everyone.

Eternal Life

We believe that Jesus will return physically, suddenly, and visibly to all. He will gather those who have believed in Him (living and dead), and bring them into the personal presence of God in His heavenly kingdom to live for eternity.
