House of Bread Community Church

Come

If you have questions about faith, are new to faith, or are coming back to faith after time away than come and learn about your faith. A strong faith in Jesus Christ is not a prerequisite. Wearing a suit, jeans, sneakers or a tie is all up to you. You don’t need to feel guilty if you miss a Sunday morning service! Come and listen with a critical mind, and evaluate what is being preached and taught. After a fair evaluation, if you think House of Bread is the right place for you, continue to come (for however long you want to) until you are ready for the next step.

Hebrews 10:25 – “not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Acts 2:42 – “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

Grow

Grow in Christ with us. Take a step forward in your faith. You grow when you take a step forward in their faith. At this stage, we understand that you may still have questions or doubts that cannot be addressed during Sunday morning services. That is why we create great environments during the week for you to connect with others, to ask questions, and to get involved in interesting discussions about faith. These environments are made up of community groups, Bible study and/or community building activities. We encourage you to take this step forward as soon as possible, and watch your faith grow.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” – 2 Peter 3:18

Serve

Serve with us and make a difference, and see that your involvement matters. Serve is designed for people who want to make a difference, and understand that their involvement matters. At this stage, depending on the area where you are serving, you will most likely have been through our membership process. We will help you identify your spiritual gifts and provide you with many opportunities to serve God and His people.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” – 1 Peter 4:10

lead

For people who have been coming, growing, serving and showing aptitude for leadership. These people have a proven character and a love for God and His people. At this stage you are called to a higher standard and a strong faith in Jesus Christ is required. Everything you do at this point is leading others into a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. We will equip and prepare you to lead.

1 Timothy 3:1-7: “This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.”
