Bible Text: Ruth 1:19-22 | Presenter: Pastor Joel Jocelyn | “Disappointment with God”

[[Ruth 1:19-22]]

Disappointment

Gap between your expectations and reality

Where is God?

[(Troubles + Time) – Unanswered Prayer
= A Choice to be Made]

What do you do?

Disappointment is a fact of life.

What you do with that disappointment is a choice:
++Cling to God in Trust
++Walk away from God
++Allow your disappointment to cripple you spiritually

Disappointment with God

Return

To what or to whom will you turn?

Turning toward someone implies that you are simultaneously turning away from another who is positioned in the opposite direction.

Turn or return to God.

There is No Such Thing as a
“Do Nothing” God.

[[Romans 8:28]]

The lack of immediate results is not an indication that God is idle.
He is working!

God is not vindictive toward His children.

[[Romans 8:38-39]]

The choice is between disappointment and trust.
