Two Responses to God’s Word:

Conviction and Repentance
Opposition and Hardening

Which response will God’s Word produce in YOU?

“Where Satan has his throne.”
“Some wish to live within the sound of a chapel bell; I wish to run a rescue mission within a yard of hell.” – C. T. Studd
Satan is not omnipresent

Satan is not currently confined in hell

Satan’s throne is on earth.

God knows!

The church of Pergamum was loyal to Jesus and the gospel.

Their compromise was of a different kind:

False teaching ran unrestrained
There was a loosening up of God’s standards

Two responses to Jesus’ warnings: Repentance or Judgment

Repentance results in:

Victory
God’s personal acknowledgment of you
Blessings of all kinds

Some of you are willing to die for Christ –

But, are you willing to live for Him, in a way that is free of compromise?
