Out of control Sin

“Sin will take you farther than you ever thought you’d stray
Sin will leave you so lost; you think you’ll never find your way
Sin will keep you longer than you ever thought you’d stay
Sin will cost you more than you ever thought you’d pay”

Repentance

_Cold Spiritually_

If left unrepentant, sin leads to
Self-Deception and a Cold Spirituality

Self-deception leads to God’s Judgment

To avoid the power and consequences of sin:
++1. Keep up your spiritual disciplines of personal Prayer, Bible study and public worship
++2. Rely on the Holy Spirit – You can’t fight this battle alone
++3. Make your mind up to live in obedience to God’s Word
++4. Avoid the First Step – Nip sin at the bud

[[Matthew 5:29-30]]

Recall that sin carries consequences, even if we are forgiven by God.
